A day in the life for me at Avacta Animal Health is: I check my emails and diary to prepare for the day and drive to the area that I’m in that day. I carry out appointments and lunch meetings and often call on new practices updating the practice staff about our products and services. Between meetings I make some phone calls & record my meetings on our computer systems.
Interests outside of work: Spending time with family and friends, yoga; walking;
If I could be an animal, I would be a: A giraffe

A day in the life for me at Avacta Animal Health is: Training how to independently carry out allergy and APP tests in the lab, checking and sorting the data, alongside maintaining a clean and tidy working lab.
Interests outside of work: I enjoy weekends away to country escapes, any type of overseas travel, and closer to home- trips out with friends for drinks where’s there’s good nightlife, but also lazy night on the sofa with the dog.
If I could be an animal, I would be a: An Arctic Fox

A day in the life for me at Avacta Animal Health is: Visiting veterinary practices in the South Central area. Educating veterinary surgeons and nurses with our product range on allergy and lymphoma testing through meetings/appointments and lunch and learns. In between visits I keep up to date with my administration which includes checking emails, planning my territory visits, writing up my visits and making telephone calls.
Interests outside of work: Country walks with my springer spaniel, spending quality time with my partner Darren and daughter Georgina. Equestrian events, going to the gym, and sitting in a nice country pub with a glass of wine socialising with friends.
If I could be an animal, I would be a: English Springer Spaniel

A day in the life for me at Avacta Animal Health is: Interesting, enjoyable and always full. I mostly enjoy trying to help the team achieve our potential and a culture that puts service and performance first.
Interests outside of work: Family, sport and our laid-back black Labrador use every waking moment outside work.
If I could be an animal, I would be a: A rescued dog on Skiathos (see below).
Favourite film: Don’t watch them (although Bad Grandpa was quite good). Favourite things to watch are rugby (both types), tennis and some mindless but relaxing things like The Apprentice and Eight Out Of Ten Cats!
Ideal holiday destination: The Atrium Hotel, Skiathos. Amazing beaches, couldn’t be more relaxed. Even has a dog rescue centre open to dog walkers. Many happy memories too.

Interests outside of work: Outside of work I enjoy running, going to gigs and watching films and box sets.
If I could be an animal, I would be a: Probably a cat as our kitten Trixy seems to spend the majority of her time sleeping.
Favourite film: ? Too many to choose from – fairly recently American Hustle, Birdman, Whiplash….
Ideal holiday destination: Anywhere I can rest, read a book, eat good food and catch some sunshine.

Interests outside of work: Enjoying the countryside with my boys (Dougal the Labradoodle & Zebedee the naughty chocolate lab……..oops nearly forgot my partner Graham) & food & wine pairing.
If I could be an animal, I would be a: A Dolphin – free willed & fun

A day in the life for me at Avacta Animal Health is: Helping vets find solutions and answers for itchy dogs, cats and horses. Allergy testing for environmental and food allergens which ultimately can give valuable information for working out solutions and treatments.  Also with our cLBT test we can help them in their diagnoses and monitoring of patients with lymphoma.
Interests outside of work: Reading theatre and my cats, dog and aged pony.
If I could be an animal, I would be a: It would be a cat as they get to curl up in front of fire all day and get fed tuna.
Favourite film: Mamma Mia as it reminds me of Skopelos.
Ideal holiday destination: Skopelos where I spent 6 years working as a holiday rep and is also where Mamma Mia filmed as its so gorgeous.

A day in the life for me at Avacta Animal Health is: A normal day for me typically consists of learning how to accurately book in samples, as well as being trained how to correctly perform animal allergy tests and learning the manufacture process. Additional tasks include inputting data from the allergy test results, as well as the general maintenance and upkeep of the lab.
Interests outside of work: Outside of work I enjoy going out with friends to anywhere with good food and cocktails, and occasionally the odd cinema trip. I also love a chilled night in with my dog Alfie, and going for long walks with him too.

A day in the life for me at Avacta Animal Health is: My life is now split between living in Columbia Missouri, managing the business, then working with the US oncologists all over the US. I love being out there, visiting oncologists and seeing the cLBT being used in real life to improve the treatment of so many pets.
Interests outside of work: Apart from traveling, I seem to be happiest with a home DIY project. I am a teacher in a theatre group for kids, where occasionally they even let me onto the stage as well. I love Formula 1 Grand Prix racing and I’m a supporter of local college football and baseball - Go Tigers!
If I could be an animal, I would be a: That would have to be a Manatee.
Favourite film: The Big Blue, directed by Luc Besson.
Ideal holiday destination: It's a three-way tie between the northern tip of Indonesia for remote and amazing, Thailand for a whole load of fun and Cornwall for beauty and a good pint of British beer.

A day in the life for me at Avacta Animal Health is: My typical day starts rather abruptly as my three little monsters cause WW3 downstairs! I plan my day the evening before, checking emails and diary to plan my route and stock my boot. I hit the road to get to my first appointment with a vet or other practice member, they then follow in quick succession, we discuss the range of Avacta’s portfolio from allergy to canine lymphoma blood tests. I usually do a lunch presentation at a practice to give clinical data & information about our products – a great opportunity to eat & learn! Then it’s more meetings and following up on any developments before preparation for the next day.
Interests outside of work: Horse riding, walking and playing hockey.
If I could be an animal, I would be a: A dolphin
